Join us at the Y for a day of fun while school is out for the day! Just like with the afterschool program, kids participate in arts and crafts, literacy, board games, group games, and outdoor play, in order to explore and develop their interests and try new things.
Please send a swimsuit and towel. 6–12 Years Old

When school is canceled due to inclement weather, the YMCA has a place for your children. The kids can enjoy snow days off from school by participating in fun activities here at the YMCA. Games, arts and crafts, gym, and pool time are available!
Ages 6-12 years old. Please bring a swim suit, towel, winter gear, and lunch.
Paying for snow day insurance gives you priority for a spot over participants who pay by the day!
After the 6 allotted snow days, participants who pay the one time fee will be required to pay the daily rate.
Must enroll by November 1, 2024
The YMCA has expanded after-school programming to Cramer and Christa McAuliffe Middle Schools. Students work with caring YMCA staff on a variety of activities in a safe and fun environment!

Individuals will not be turned away from participating in programs, activities, and/or membership due to their inability to pay. The Y maintains a generous financial assistance program for youth, adults, and families who demonstrate financial need. Funding for this program is provided by fundraising events at the Dow Bay Area Family YMCA and community-wide donors.
