Looking for your child to experience water exploration and water safety during this summer season? This camp let’s children explore the water through various lenses of learning and enjoyment. Each day your child will receive a 30-min swim lesson, water time to practice and play games, and time for both snack time and a craft.

This camp week is designed for ages 6-11 years old. If your child is younger, please check out our Splashapooloza Jr. Camp!

Please have your child bring a swimsuit, a towel, and shoes for both water and on-land activities. A snack will be provided; should your child have any allergies or sensitivities concerns please contact our Aquatics Department.

Hoopsters is a 50-minute, 3-day camp designed to introduce our littles to the sport of basketball. This camp is geared towards 3-6 year old’s who have an interest in playing basketball, but haven’t had the opportunity yet. Kids will start to learn the basic skills of dribbling, passing, and shooting, as well as some footwork to start building coordination.

They will start to learn about basketball IQ and how to make smart plays.

Financial AsSistance Programs

Individuals will not be turned away from participating in programs, activities, and/or membership due to their inability to pay. The Y maintains a generous financial assistance program for youth, adults, and families who demonstrate financial need. Funding for this program is provided by fundraising events at the Dow Bay Area Family YMCA and community-wide donors.
