    345 Students were placed in the nurturing environment of our childcare, GSRP or afterschool programs where they are encouraged to play, learn and grow.

    31,109 Healthy snacks and meals were provided to children in our community.

    4,424 meals were provided in bay county for anyone asking for assistance with our emergency food box program.

  • 5,434 ADULTS

    5,434 adults benefited from in person health and wellness programs – keeping them active, healthy and inspired.

    3,051 children participated in our sports, swim and summer camp programs.

  • 703 FAMILIES & INDIVIDUALS

    703 families and individuals received assistance to get access & enjoy the benefits of YMCA membership and programs.

    Volunteers donated 1,797 hours to allow the Y to serve our community.

    Our Community Care Closet and our goal with this is to ensure that everyone in our community has access to basic hygiene products, regardless of their circumstances.

  • Please be on time for your reservation. If you are late for your appointment, you will not get additional time. (e.g. your reserved lap swim time is 9am-9:45am, but you do not get in the pool until 9:20am, your reservation still ends at 9:45am.)

  • There are daily/weekly limits on some classes/areas to give opportunities to other members. The system will let you know if your daily/weekly limit has been reached.

Financial AsSistance Programs

Individuals will not be turned away from participating in programs, activities, and/or membership due to their inability to pay. The Y maintains a generous financial assistance program for youth, adults, and families who demonstrate financial need. Funding for this program is provided by fundraising events at the Dow Bay Area Family YMCA and community-wide donors.
