Balance your energy and quiet your mind. Hatha Yoga focuses on physical postures (asana), breathing techniques and relaxation. Class begins with centering, breath work, warmups, moves through standing postures, balance and core floor work. This class moves a little slower than a Vinyasa class and is for all levels of practitioner.
Slowly but surely as we age we typically lose more and more of our range of motion. If you are looking to stop the loss and work to regain that mobility this is the class for you. Long stretch holds, joint strengthening, balance training are just a few of the tactics that are utilized in class.
Come join me for a 30-minute split class focusing on Cardiovascular Endurance and Strength.
Think of 15-minute intervals starting off with spinning- hills, sprints, and tabata work. Finish off the class with 15 minutes of Upper Body & Core Strength focus.
Bring water, a smile, and your best effort!
